1.      I can expect to encounter people who will h_________ me if that frees them to carry out their sinful plans (John 15:20).   When I experience persecution, I shouldn’t be afraid to speak the truth, because the same p________ that called Lazarus out of the tomb will one day be used to vindicate me.

 

2.      I can expect to encounter people who are so focused on earthly pleasures that they will take a_______________ of me and break rules to accomplish their goals.   Pray for these.

 

3.      I can expect to encounter people who recognize their plans are short-sighted or inadequate.  In that case I should share God’s plan for s______________ and challenge them to take the next spiritual step.

 

4.      The best laid plan is the one that is c________________ with God’s plan and desire.   

 

o   I should spend quality time with a small number of believers who I  l________ and t_________.  This includes mature believers so that I can benefit, and immature believers that I can minister to.

o   I should s ______________ something for Jesus, rather than sacrificing Jesus for something else. Nothing I do for the Lord will be in vain.  He will remember and reward!

 

o   Remember that even if my plan doesn’t always unfold as I h__________, God’s plan always will.
