Shoreline
Mission: SCC exists to facilitate spiritual progress by communicating the
relevancy of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our
Sunday morning services are designed to present the Word of God and the God of
the Word relevantly, practically and creatively. We hope that our services will
challenge you to devote yourself to Jesus Christ. Please help us spread the word
about Shoreline to others who are searching for spiritual direction in their
lives.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 09/06/26
It has been almost 5 years since we
lost our Founding Pastor, Rev. Jerry Collins.
The initial question at that time was
“Will we continue the ministry of Shoreline Community Church”?
We made the decision to continue the
teaching ministry with the commitment of a handful of faithful men who would
rotate the responsibility of teaching our flock.
This endeavor has been a blessing to us
over the last 5 years, although we have lost some of our speakers over time.
We knew going into the future that we
would eventually age out or lose some key people that would make the
continuation of the ministry unworkable.
Well, that time has come. Mark
Kolbe, Tucker Supplee and Jim Bauer, with our wives, met last Sunday, August
30, 2026.
With the departure of one of our key
music and teaching leaders as well as a shrinking attendance, with prayerful consideration,
it was decided to end the ministry of Shoreline Community Church effective
September 13, 2026, when we complete our series in Thessalonians.
We plan to have a potluck dinner and a
Celebration of Prayer and Memories on September 20, 2026 at 6:00PM at our usual
meeting place, Bridge To Life Ministries.
We wish to have you all be there and
let all of the Shoreline Alumni know that they are invited and encouraged to
attend.
We are sincerely grateful for all your
prayers, gifts and encouragement over the last almost 36 years since Shoreline
began this journey.
May God continue to guide and bless
you as you seek opportunities to serve Him wherever He may lead you.
